New Ghana holidays and tours for 2011-2012...
Ghana is a great place for holidays and tours - safe, friendly, english-speaking and easy to get to. It has spectacular beaches, five hundred year old trading forts, forests and lakes, traditional crafts and arts and historic culture. Come to Ghana and broaden your mind!
Our Ghana tours have grown out of working with bead makers, weavers, crafts people and artisans over twenty years. They began as a means of providing a more personal access to Ashanti crafts and artists.
We have extended the tours to provide other routes to experience the places and people of Ghana, including cycling tours, walking tours, festivals and drumming tours.
As a teacher I am particularly interested in working with schools twinned with Ghana, to maximise the value of twinning visits by showing students other aspects of Ghana. All the tours here can be adapted for schools groups. I would love to hear from any schools twinned with Ghana about how they would wish to broaden their students' experience.
We offer Ghana tours and holidays including Ghana crafts such as bead making, wood carving, brass casting, Adinkra printing and kente weaving, Wilderness adventures along the coast, rain forest, dugout canoe river trips, moutains, waterfalls and lakes, and cycling tours to meet the people, visit communities and experience village life...
'...an amazing holiday in Ghana which we shall remember for a long time ... nine of us spent ten days in three locations of Ghana and had a very well organised and memorable holiday. '
If you are coming from outside Ghana you will be interested in the longer tours for two weeks - so read on...

Dipo is a series of cultural rituals through which young Krobo girls in Ghana become women - learning correct behaviour and special dances.
